Small Collective Haul (Clinique, Essie, Mac, Korres, Maybelline, Rimmel)

I bought a few things these past three weeks, some of them online and some from the department store, but I didn't get a lot so this will be a small haul post.

Maybelline The Rocket Mascara
I start with the two products I got from Feelunique a few weeks ago. The first one is the new mascara from Maybelline, The Rocket. I read so many good reviews about this mascara that I had to try it! So far I've only tried it twice, and my first impression is that this is a super black volumizing mascara. It doesn't make my lashes longer and it doesn't do a good job at seperating them, but maybe that's because the formula it's still very wet. Overall I really like it!

Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer in Celestial
The Apocalips lip lacquer is a very popular product in the blog community for the past few months, everybody loves it, except me! I was so dissapointed with this one, for two reasons, the formula and the color. First of all the formula is very drying and it tastes like crayons, and the color is so wrong for me, it's a very dark rose and I don't wear this kind of color. Here's a swatch for you:

I thought it would be more of a medium pink beige shade, but no it's dark and rose. Maybe I'll wear it in the fall or winter time but not for spring and summer.

Clinique Repairwear Laser Focus Eye Cream
A new eye cream was in my must haves for this month because my Kiehls Avocado one finished, and I wanted to try a new lighter one. Since I have a few fine lines around my eyes I decided this time to go for an eye cream that has anti wrinkle properties and not just a moisturizing one. The Repairwear Laser Focus eye cream is a new release from Clinique, I'm using it for two weeks now and I can't tell if it does anything for the fine lines yet but I'm absolutely in love with the lightweight texture! It wears really good under concealer, and it doesn't feel thick or sticky like the Kiehls Avocado does.

Essie Under Wear and Come Here! nail polishes.
As I told you in my Spring Beauty Wishlist post, these two shades from the new Essie Resort 2013 collection are the ones that I wanted the most, so I ordered them from Ebay. Both are incredible beautiful shades, Under Wear is a soft lillac shade and Come Here!, which is my favorite, is an almost neon coral red. If you love these kind of shades go and get them, you won't regret it!

Mac Brule Eyeshadow
I was propably the only person who didn't own this eyeshadow, and I only got it because it's portable and I can take it with me when I'm travelling. I love my Too Faced Heaven eyeshadow as a browbone shade but I can't take it with me without taking the whole Natural palette too, so Brule was the closest one I could get. It's not as bright as Heaven but it does the same job.

Korres Pink Flamingo nail polish
Pink Flamingo is one of the Korres new shades for the spring/summer 2013, and it's a coral pink shade. I just couldn't resist to that shade, it's so fun and summerish. Too bad for now they're only available in Greece, but if you can find it, please get it, it's so perfect!

I hope that you liked my small haul. Let me know if you are lemming or already own any of these.

Spring Beauty Wishlist

I know I'm a little late posting now my Spring wishlist, but I had to do it because I developed a few lemmings the past month and I wanted to share them with you. They're only a few and some of them are more of summer rather than spring lemmings but that's OK!

1.  Korres Spring Lilac nail polish from their new SS13 limited edition collection. I already got the Pink Flamingo which is an almost neon coral pink and now I really want the Spring Lilac too, it's a soft cool tone lilac shade perfect for the spring.

2. Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte Shine in Corail Intuitive. YSL released new shades of Volupte Shines for the spring and Corail Intuitive is the one that I want the most, I haven't seen it in person yet but it looks so peachy and pretty!

3. Clinique Oversized Orange Chubby Stick. I never felt the need before to get a Chubby Stick from Clinique, because I read reviews saying that they're too sheer, but while I was at the Clinique counter swatching all the shades I thought that this one is worth having. Is not orange at all, it's a pure peach shade, also very glossy, perfect for summer!

4. Essie Come Here! and Under Where nail polishes. I pretty much love every single color from the new Essie Resort 2013 collection, but I can't have them all, so I chose these two because they are the shades that I love wearing the most on my nails at spring and summertime!

5. Escada Cherry In The Air Fragrance. Every year Escada's summer limited edition fragrances are by far my favorites, they are fruity and fun, perfect for summer. I smelled the Cherry In The Air quite a few times when I was at Sephora, and I love it, can't wait to get it!

6. Dior Addict lipstick in Delice. Dior launched a few gorgeous shades of Dior Addict lipsticks and lipglosses for the spring, I swatched all of them at the counter but Delice was the one that I liked the most! It's a gorgeous coral peachy shade with a glossy finish! I know I have lots of peachy lipsticks in my wishlist but this one is propably the one that I want the most because of the formula, Dior Addict lipsticks have an amazing glossy texture!

7. Bobbi Brown Tinted Eye Brightener. I don't know why, but I'm obsessed with trying new concealers lately. This one is actually a corrector, and I used to like the regular Bobbi Brown Light Peach corrector but I didn't like the texture at all,  it creased a lot. I'm glad that they released correctors with liquid texture, liquid concealers work much better with my skintype.

8. Korres Yoghurt Extreme Fluid SPF30 Sunscreen. I love Korres face sunscreens, one of the few that didn't break me out, and this year they released it with a fluid formula, which is very good for oily skintypes like mine. I can't wait to try it!

Let me know what's in your beauty wihslist for this spring!

Essie Resort 2013 Collection

This is the month where the first summer nail collections, pre-summer collections I should say, are starting to release, and that makes me more than happy because summer shades on my nails are the ones that I love the most!

Essie's Resort collection features six bright and tropical shades, with fun dirty names, who scream summer!

Come Here! - An outrageously nearly neon coral.

First Timer - Fresh newbie green.

In the Cab-ana
- Self assured aqua azure.

Under Where - Wildly flirtatious orchid.

Nice Package - Whistle worthy pink dahlia.

Again?! - Fired up raspberry punch.

This is propably one of the few nail collections that I want to get if not all the shades at least 4 of them, but for sure Come Here! and Under Where are the ones that I want the most!

Which shades do you like the most from the Resort 2013 collection? Do you enjoy summer nail collections as much as I do? Let me know!

*The Resort 2013 collection is available in Greece since April 2013 at hair and beauty salons, nail studios and spa, 12 € each.

March Favorites.

Yep it's official, March is over, and I was thinking what should I include in my monthly favorites this time, and honestly it was so hard for me to find products to show you because I didn't have that many favorites this past month! So you will only see six products this time, but for sure these six are the ones that I really enjoyed using within March. So let's begin!
La Roche Posay Physiological Micellar Solution
I only got this a few weeks ago but it became my favorite already! Its formula is very similar to my other HG, Vichy's Purete Thermal Micellar Lotion. I think it's perfect for oily skintypes like mine, whenever I use this to remove my face make up there's no need to cleanse my face right afterwards, because it doesn't leave my skin sticky, like the Vichy one does. I think it's the perfect micellar lotion for the summertime!

The Body Shop Shea Body Butter
Shea Body Butter from The Body Shop was actually the first body butter I've ever tried from them when I was still a teenager, and many years after it's still my favorite scent from all the ones I've tried. It has a warm buttery scent, that sometimes makes you want to eat it, and not that vanilla-buttery scent but more of a nutty-buttery one, which is mush better because it's more mature and less nauseous. I opened the jar at the beginning of March and I've already used 1/3 of it. I seriously love it, even though it's very thick, I don't mind that!

Urban Decay Buck Eyeshadow
Buck it has become my HG crease eyeshadow, it totally replaced my love for Mac Cork. Buck is a little darker and warmer, and goes well with all my neutral eye looks. This and Smog are definetely the only eyeshadows I'll definetely purchase in full sizes when I'll hit pan on my Naked palette.

Foltene Eyelash and Eyebrow Treatment
This product is a pure miracle! I noticed the good results even only one month of using it. My eyebrows look definetely fuller, and it fixed my problematic left eyebrow, which has always been the weakest one, now it looks way more fuller and I cannot tell a difference between my left and right brow. Love it!

Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector in 02 Apricot Shimmer
I never thought that I would ever include this product in one of my monthly favorites, and that's because when I bought it last year I immediately hated it! I didn't like it at all, I thought it was sticky and nothing too special! I don't know what got into me and when I saw it in my make up stash I decided to give it a second chance. I was using it for a few days until I decided that I really like it, and now I can't stop using it. Most of the times I use it alone with a neutral pink lipliner. But I'm not sure if I'll repurchase it again because it's very expensive!

Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Top Coat
This has totally replaced the fast drying top coat I was using from Poshe. It does the exact same job as the Poshe one, but it's thinner and also doesn't shrink my nail varnishes. I'll definitely repurchase it but only if I'll be able to find it in a reasonable price here in Greece.

Non Beauty Favorites

Justin Timberlake - The 20/20 Experience
This is my only non beauty favorite for this month. I love Justin Timberlake's songs since I was a teenager, and I was waiting for him to release a new album for seven whole years! Overall I don't think this is his best album so far, but it definitely has a more mature sound and  I really love 3 songs from it, the Tunnel Vision, Don't Hold The Wall and Mirrors, I can't stop listening to them for days!

I hope you enjoyed my monthly favorites this time, even though they were only a few!
Have you tried any of them? Do you like Justin Timberlake's new album?
Let me know!
